What makes us different?

Other Foods' Mushroom snacks have all the taste and texture of natural slow baked mushrooms. The earthy Umami taste of mushrooms is one that few consumers can resist, combined with just a pinch of Himalayan salt to heighten the organoleptic experience.
Other Foods mushroom snacks are a moreish indulgent treat that satisfy that savoury sweet spot in snacking with all the benefits of natural goodness and a hint of guilt-free pleasure. Under 100 calories per portion, no artificial colours, additives or preservatives – they are good enough to eat anytime you want.
Are your snacks Halal?
Although all of our raw materials are certified, Other Foods are not currently certified Kosher or Halal. It is something we would consider if enough consumers ask for it.
How do we make them so crunchy?
It’s a combination of science and gourmet adventure!
We firstly vacuum dry our selected mushroom and okra, then put them into a vacuum chamber to gently cook them in a relatively low temperature (around 60 ℃）We are aiming for that symphony of crunchiness! Then comes the dash of vegan maltose to strengthen the natural sweetness of vegetable, then season with pinch of Himalayan salt to perfection.
All of our snacks are cooked in small batch to ensure we bring the highest quality to you.
Are your ingredients Organic?
The raw materials for our artichoke chips is certified organic however the whole range of Other Foods is not certified organic. However, we are always working to source the highest quality ingredients for our range of snacks.
